Red or white
but always Roero

From antiquity, winemaking has been a main component of the cultural and day-to-day life of the Roero territory, whose landscape has been transformed and sculpted by the presence of the vines. Winegrowing in Roero has always been carried out in tandem with other types of farming, however in recent decades it has become the pillar of the local economy. Roero wine has also become the ambassador of the area far beyond its borders, because of the quality of the wines and the international success they have garnered.

Roero and Roero Arneis, inseparably linked to the territory, transmit the charm and flavour of these hills and account for the fame of the area. As a result, Roero is appreciated by all enthusiasts of food and wine and of wine tourism. Roero and Roero Arneis are the wines that authentically interpret the Roero terroir.

With this new docuseries, Langhe.TV brings the excellence of both wine and terroir to the fore. In it, the winemakers tell their own authentic stories; they discuss vineyards and how to work them; they reveal cellar secrets, wine styles and winemaking principles and point out the characteristics of some of the Geographic References.

The docuseries also grapples with important themes for the future of the region and presents the often surprising viewpoints of its protagonists.
